Perspectives on GMO in Africa

“GMO in Africa” blogger, James Wachai, responds to a blog entry by Stephen Zavestoski, author of The Curious and an Associate Professor and Chair, Sociology and Environmental Studies at the University of San Francisco.

In the post, “Monsanto: Africa’s Johnny Appleseed?”, Zavestocki questions the company’s motive of introducing Combi-pack, a package containing hybrid maize seed, fertilizer and herbicide, to African farmers.
